Empowering Girls to Reach Their Full Potential
Girls increase their awareness of the power of the media and the effects of media messages on girls and women. They learn to advocate for change in advertising, news, and entertainment on all social media platforms.

The Eureka Program is a 5-year after-school initiative that meets once a month with a four-week STEM summer camp component.
Girls focus on STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Eureka! supports girls in 8th grade, through high school graduation, preparing them for successful STEM careers.
Instilling Enthusiasm for STEM
The school-year program develops girls’ skills in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) and is designed to encourage girls to anticipate post-secondary education as a realistic option for their futures and exposure to STEM career opportunities.
Reading is the Ticket to Wealth
The program includes reading mentors and coaches to support girls’ progression in the program. It includes sessions on: word recognition, sight words, word usage, and spelling phonetically to improve sounding out words.
Fulfilling the Hopes of Girls
Girls Inc. of Delaware provides opportunities for girls to transition from high school to post-secondary success via skills training, career exposure, community engagement, paid internships and mentorships focused on future orientation and planning.
Combating Peer Pressure
The primary goal is to keep girls in school and motivate them to continue education and seek careers to achieve their personal, professional, and economic potential. Friendly PEERsuasion for girls 11-14 targets the years during which girls begin to experience and respond to influence and peer pressure more fully.
Jumping Rope out of Poverty
Double Dutch Diamonds of Delaware is a program designed to focus on the positive attributes associated with young girls faced with undue hardships, violence, drugs, and poverty.
Understanding Wealth and Money
Guides girls to learn how to manage money, invest, and begin to develop an understanding for global economics.
