Wilmington University Scholarship
The Wolf family established the annual Clarice E. Wolf Essay Memorial Scholarship to award $2,500 toward a four-year undergraduate degree for girls graduating from a public school in Delaware who will pursue a degree towards a career in service (teaching, nursing, medical, psychology, social work, clergy, non-profit, etc.) and need financial aid to attend college. The winner will commit to volunteering at least 50 hours of service at Girls Inc of Delaware during the summer of 2023.
The Girls Inc of Delaware (Girls Inc. of Delaware) Scholarship Committee will award $2,500
per year toward a four-year degree to a graduating female senior of a
Delaware high school who is/was a participant in a Girls Inc. of Delaware program. For the
2023 Scholarship, we chose to relax this participation requirement, although
participation would be preferred. The scholarship will be awarded to pursue an
undergraduate degree at an accredited educational institution full-time enrolled in
a science, technology, engineering, math, or education major.
The Girls Inc of Delaware (Girls Inc. of Delaware) Scholarship Committee will award $2,500
per year toward a four-year degree to a graduating female senior of a
Delaware high school who is/was a participant in a Girls Inc. of Delaware program. For the
2023 Scholarship, we chose to relax this participation requirement, although
participation would be preferred. The student must show continued full-time
enrollment at an accredited institution and in good standing (GPA > 2.0) to receive
future funding.
The Girls Inc of Delaware (Girls Inc. of Delaware) Scholarship Committee will award a graduating female senior for a full-tuition, four-year scholarship to Wilmington University, beginning in the 2023-24 academic year. This award amount is for full undergraduate tuition and excludes books,
fees, repeat courses and living expenses. The award must be used within four years and is non-transferable.
